At Diamond Peak Homes our goal is to help you build your forever home. We know building a home can seem like an overwhelming process, but we are able to simplify the home building process by separating it into 5 simple steps.
5 Steps to Bring You Home
1. Introduction
Ready to build with Diamond Peak? Find your perfect model or subdivision on our site, or call (219) 779-9464. You can also connect via our contact tab. Our team will help you choose a lot, secure your deposit, and sign the contract to start building your forever home!
2. Selections
Our process starts with an initial meeting to discuss structural changes like garage and room sizes. Next, you will select your exterior siding, stone, roof, and windows, followed by interior choices like kitchen layouts, flooring, and electrical fixtures. After a follow-up, your signed selections are locked in.
3. Build Phase
After permits are approved, building begins by breaking ground for the foundation, followed by framing and mechanicals. Next, Walkthrough 1 covers electrical placements before insulation and drywall are installed. After flooring and tile, Walkthrough 2 verifies your trim and cabinet layout. Finally, paint is finished and touch-ups are completed.
4. Closing
We’ll walk through your new home together to review features and catch any last touch-ups. Then, it’s time for closing! We will head to the title company to sign the final paperwork, hand over the keys, and officially welcome you home to your beautiful new Diamond Peak build.
5. Warranty
Your peace of mind is our priority. Your home includes an NAHB-standard one-year workmanship and ten-year structural warranty, starting right on closing day. If you ever need anything fixed or addressed during your first year, just submit a quick request through our homeowner portal.
